Terms of Service

Effective date: August 20, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Siloët, including siloet.ai, Siloët accounts, connected-platform features, analysis tools, previews, and any related services we provide (the "Services").

By creating an account, connecting a third-party account, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use Siloët on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Services

Siloët helps users import, organize, read, and evaluate content before publication. The Services may include local uploads, connected-platform imports, visualizations, content analysis, audience or context tools, and related product workflows.

Some features are experimental, in review, or available only in limited environments. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the product develops.

3. Accounts and authentication

You may need a Siloët account to use private product surfaces. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Siloët currently uses Firebase Authentication for email and password accounts. We may also use a separate environment access gate for private review or staging environments. That gate is not a replacement for individual user authentication.

4. Connected platforms

You may choose to connect third-party platforms, including TikTok or Instagram, so Siloët can access information you authorize for use inside the Services. You control whether to connect a platform account and which eligible account you authorize.

When you connect a platform account, you also remain subject to that platform's terms, policies, permissions, and account requirements. Siloët is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for TikTok, Instagram, Meta, or their services.

The current connector does not request publishing permissions, and with the permissions it holds Siloët cannot post, publish, edit, or delete content on a connected account. You may disconnect a connected account from within Siloët, which deletes the stored connection record and the credential held with it, and you may also revoke access through the platform's own settings.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload, import, submit, or select for use with Siloët. You grant Siloët a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transform, and analyze that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content to Siloët and to authorize Siloët to process it. Do not upload or connect content that you are not allowed to use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in violation of law or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, connected platform data, tokens, or private content.
  • Interfere with, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security controls for the Services.
  • Upload malware, harmful code, illegal content, or content that exploits or harms others.
  • Misrepresent your identity, permissions, or authorization to connect a third-party account.

7. Analysis and outputs

Siloët may produce automated, interpretive, or model-assisted outputs. These outputs are provided to help you evaluate content and context, but they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular use.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs and making your own decisions. Siloët does not guarantee performance, reach, engagement, audience response, business results, or publication outcomes.

8. Siloët property and feedback

Siloët and its licensors own the Services, including software, interfaces, designs, workflows, models, visualizations, and documentation. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Services to you.

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant Siloët the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party services

The Services may depend on or link to third-party services, including authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, communications, AI infrastructure, TikTok, Instagram, and Meta. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their terms and policies may apply to your use of them.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Siloët or others, or used the Services in a way that could harm the product, connected platforms, or other users.

You may stop using Siloët at any time and may request deletion of personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Siloët will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the Services.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
